Customer Use Case Example: HubSpot, PhoneBurner & ConnectWise

This customer use case features two of our recent Bedrock Data product updates: 

  • The creation of our PhoneBurner connector, allowing a seamless connection from any marketing automation or CRM to a power dialing solution for SDR/sales teams (PhoneBurner customers were previously limited just to Salesforce integration)
  • The update of our ConnectWise connector to use ConnectWise's REST API, now featured in the ConnectWise marketplace as a certified partner for both Salesforce and any CRM or marketing automation

The use case below shows how Bedrock Data can enable a lead flow as below:

  1. Marketing manages leads from multiple lead sources within HubSpot
  2. Marketing/sales set rules for when the SDR team will call leads as part of nurturing those leads. The SDR team uses the PhoneBurner power dialer for high volume call outreach.
  3. Once qualified within PhoneBurner, the lead is passed to sales team using ConnectWise.

(This example is for demonstration purposes, Bedrock Data also manages a bi-directional integration between HubSpot and ConnectWise for many customers, and HubSpot can be interchanged with any marketing automation, and ConnectWise with any CRM, from our available integrations).

Let’s show how it works:

Step 1: New lead begins in HubSpot


Step 2: Lead is synchronized to PhoneBurner and assigned to SDR


Step 3: SDR logs calls through high volume phone outreach. Qualified leads are passed to CRM


Step 4: Lead is assigned to sales rep in ConnectWise. All past marketing and calling activities are part of the lead record for sales rep to refer to.


Step 5: Here’s a look at the activities in ConnectWise.


Step 6: The lead record is kept in sync with HubSpot as well, for a closed loop picture of the lead and the resulting outcomes (opportunity conversion, $) for HubSpot analytics
